Day 1

Arrive Paro. Travel to Thimphu

Evening visit Buddha where sits the largest statue of Lord Buddha and from where you can view the beautiful view of the capital.

Day 2

Travel to Punakha and WangduePhodrang

Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple then visit the Punakha Dzong which is the second largest Dzong in the country.

Visit the wangdue Dzong.

Day 3

Travel to Bumthang. Relaxing evening

Day 4

Travel to Bumthang one of the most richly endowed districts in terms of historical and spiritual legacy.

Some of Bhutan’s oldest and most respected temples are found in Bumthang, including Jambey Lhakhang. According to legend this ancient temple was built by the Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo in 659 A.D.

Visit Jakar Dzong

Visit the Burning Lake, Mebar Tsho located along the way to the Tang village takes approximately thirty minutes’ drive from Chamkhar town. Mebar Tsho is considered one of the most sacred sites in the region as it is related to the renowned religious treasurer (Terton) Terton Pema Lingpa. Pema Lingpa is considered an incarnated disciple of Padmasambhava who discovered treasure within the lake in late 15th century. To observe the spectacular beauty of this historical and religious site many tourists plan their visit.

Day 5

Travel back to Thimphu. Explore Thimphu town.

Day 6

Travel back to Paro and hike to Taktshang monastery

Evening relax.
